Toyota will introduce Griffon GT 86 sports coupe this weekend. Toyota GT 86 Griffon will be introduced at the event Goodwood Festival of Speed 2013.
Griffon is one of the hottest version of the Toyota GT 86. Griffon will greet England at the end of this week, at the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2013. Coupe British public will see the Boxer engine, with a different appearance to the standard model.
Toyota GT 86 TRD Griffon has a mechanical differential, Torsen unit to replace the standard components, the ratio reduced to 4.8:1 final drive, new coilover suspension system, new oil cooler, TRD monoblock and a few other changes.
Not only that, the Toyota GT 86 Griffon Project has been using the seat and MOMO steering rods, oil pressure, oil temperature and water temperature gauge and shift knob, all new models.
The weight of the car is reduced after several parts such as doors, hood, bood lid, roof and rear wing using carbon fiber. The front wing, bumper and diffuser are made of CFRP. This car stands on 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan tires.
