Now We're Able to Get HUD for Our Car

Head-up display technology is no longer exclusive to luxury cars, such as BMW. Experts in satellite navigation, Garmin, has launched their new product called the HUD.

HUD is a Head-up Display portable for navigation applications on smartphones. This tool is an example of a simple yet extremely effective idea, the light projector HUD will provide direction in window film installed on the windshield, or can also use reflector lenses.

The driver got the guidance and direction of information in line with the direction of the eye, is able to improve security and minimize driving distractions. HUD works with bluetooth connectivity of smartphones currently running apps Garmin Street Pilot 1 or Navigon.

"HUD redefined navigation experience by allowing drivers to find directions without taking their eyes off the road," commented Dan Bartel, Garmin's vice president of worldwide sales, as reported by Carscoops, Tuesday (09/07/2013).

HUD will provide information on speed, speed limit, direction of turn, distance, and estimated time arrived at the destination. HUD also has a warning system when exceeding the speed of provision and the way the car body over the line.
