New Cheap Datsun Car to Kill off New Nissan March?

In line with the Micra (March) which had a facelift in India, Nissan also introduced a low-cost car version of their hatchback model Nissan March named Active. Both are just different engine capacities and cosmetics from March generations.

With the March Active presence in the market and the emergence of Datsun models later on July 15 in India that uses basik of March, the question arises where the position March Active?

Rebirth by Nissan's Datsun brand in order to fill the cheap car belonging to the class of the Japanese manufacturers. Will March Active interfere with the commencement of the sale Datsun hatchback (coded K2) or later will sit under the Nissan March Active.

Datsun K2 will indeed be unveiled July 15, 2013, but it will only launch it, the problem of sales and selling price will be announced April 2014.

Here are many similarities between the Nissan March Active and Datsun K2. Both will use a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that produces petrol 68 PS and use the 5-speed manual transmission. There is no option for both diesel engines that are intended to directly compete with Hyundai i10, Maruti Suzuki WagonR, and Chevrolet Beat.

It is inevitable practice of cannibals could happen if the Nissan March is still sold as the Datsun Active born. Datsun need a lot of potential market if you want to be under March Active. Datsun K2 that uses the base March appeared with a very different design with aggressive aura.
